The Boosey and Hawkes Imperial Euphonium was the pinacle of euphonium making of it’s time.
This model would later become the Besson Sovereign, a world-renowned model of Euphonium.
The serial number (17xxxx) dates the instrument to being manufactured in roughly the early 1950s.
The instrument is in good overall condition; There are a fair few dings and dents on the instrument, as you might expect to see on an insturment of this age that has been played regularly, but there is no damage that affects the instruments playability, and the valves and all slides work perfectly.
