This model was introduced as Yanagisawa’s entry to the intermediate range of instruments, competing against the likes of the Yamaha YAS-32 at the time. However there are few differences between this and one of their professional instruments, so calling it an intermediate instrument is unfair.
It has a marginally brighter tone, with a solid and warm low end.
