Hanson Series VIII Baritone Saxophone Hand Rubbed Raw Brass

Featuring the same new thin and super resonant wall body tube as used on the LX model, the SBVIII has an incredibly huge bark of a sound. Another great feature of this sax is that the whole tube is acoustically annealed, (not just the bell as on most baritones). The annealing process is scientifically proven to reduce dissipation of energy, that is to say, if you own a Hanson saxophone the fully annealled body actually makes your sax more powerful and project more compared to those players with ‘other’ non-annealled instrument!

Our baritones have always had a good reputation, with famous names such as Dave O’Higgins and Allon Beauvoisin having owned and played them, but there is no doubting that our latest editions- the all new LX and series VIII- are the best we’ve ever made.
